Donnie and his wife Cindy along with their twins, Chris and Tina, were long time members of Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola, Fl. Donnie had served as a deacon at Brownsville from 1984 through 1997 when he went on staff there full time as Pastor of Campus Ministries. Over the next several years, Donnie, would oversee the small group ministries, the intern program and assume all the day to day activities of the youth ministry. During his time there he had the privilege of seeing the student ministry explode from around 100 youth to over 500 each week.

In July of 2003, the Lewis family felt called to take a position with the Rock Church in Virginia Beach, Va. as their Youth Minister. During their time at Rock Church, the youth ministry experienced tremendous growth from a couple of dozen youth to over 150 each week. Then in October of 2004, Donnie accepted a position as the Pastor of Church Life and Evangelism here at Grace World Outreach Church. In January 2008 he assumed the position of Pastor of Student Ministries.

With his experiences in large churches, Donnie understands the dynamics of making a big church seem small. The issues associated with helping each individual get plugged in and become a functioning member of the fellowship. Donnie is a dynamic speaker with a passion for evangelism and a gift of connecting with people. He has a tremendous desire to see this generation accept the challenge and call that he believes God has given to the youth of today. A call to be missionaries to their schools and neighborhoods, to take back what the enemy has stolen.
