Missions
The Missions Ministry puts into action the very heart of God as He has given an incredible assignment to every believer to become His partner in giving hope and salvation to the world for whom Christ died. Our focus is to assist the lead pastor in raising the level of passion to see Jesus Christ loved and worshipped by every people group, culture, tongue, and nation. This includes an active Missions Committee that interviews prospective missionaries for monthly support, hears testimonies of currently supported missionaries, organizes community outreach and evangelism, plans short-term national and foreign mission trips, and maintains contact with our very own missionaries to Africa and Turkey. In addition, we mentor, equip, train, empower and release those that have answered the call to become involved in any type of missions ministry.
Gideon's 300 - Judges 6-7
Grace World Outreach Church has taken on the challenge to be mobilized for missions. Our lead pastor asked God to raise up an army of 300 that will be on the front line advancing the Kingdom of God. God spoke to us through a sermon preached by Pastor Garcia about His army:
- We need to increase our giving to missions and evangelism- Acts 20:35
- If we are involved in His Great Commission, God will be involved in our great deliverance- Mark 16:15
- A prophetic word to Grace World Outreach Church- "A Gideon's army of at least 300 will rise up and give extra to missions monthly above tithes."
Pastor challenged 300 people to give at least $25 per month over the course of one year, which will be $7,500 a month and $90,000 a year towards missions. Presently over 200 have made faith promises and joined the ranks...how about you?

Keeping Missions in Focus
The following families are members of Grace World Outreach Church, where they were prayed for, commissioned, and sent out. Steven and Donna serve in Africa, while S and J, serve in Turkey.
Steve & Donna Mirabella: Missionaries to Tanzania, Africa
Tanzania is 5 degrees south of the equator, just south of Kenya. There are about 41,000,000 people in the country, and over 4,000,000 unreached people in over 33 tribes.
We are reaching out to the southern parts of Tanzania, where there are millions of unreached people scattered throughout the mountains, and tucked in remote isolated villages. The people are very superstitious, and prefer to be left alone. Many of them have never seen a foreigner or a white person before. Villages are ruled by Kings and Queens, the spiritual ancestral beliefs of these people are governed by fear of the many witchdoctors who reside in each village and rule alongside the chief. These people have very little; hardly any food, or water, with the majority of them only having the clothes on their back.
Our mission is to reach these villages with the gospel of Jesus Christ by introducing them to their savior who died for their sins so they might live eternally with Him in Heaven. Our aim is to leave a pastor in every
village who will disciple and train up leaders to go out and reach the millions of lost all around them. We desire to help to build a church in each village, deliver Bibles, and provide ongoing accountability ( many villages if left to themselves revert back to their tribal beliefs and the village becomes once again deceived and lost).
Our focus, according to Jeremiah 1:10, "I have this day set you over nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, pull down, and destroy, and to throw down, to build up, and to plant". We are commanded by the Word and empowered by the Holy Spirit as children of the Most High to tear down every stronghold, whether of the mind of man or the spirit realm, and to build, to plant, and to establish the Kingdom of God. We are called to prepare the way and make ready a people for the second coming of Jesus Christ. We believe God and His Word that we have been sent for such a time as this. His will is to have these high places of every false belief and every demonic stronghold over these unreached people broken and that they lay hold of God's purposes and promises and cooperate with Him in bringing them forth in the earth. With purified minds and clean hands, we the church will then be free to be filled with a fresh vision from Heaven to bring the Kingdom of God to all we meet! To God alone be the Glory!! Great things He has done!!

S & J - Serving in Istanbul Turkey
Turkey is located in the 10/40 window which is where 95% of all unreached people groups live. Turkey is 99.6% Islamic and considered one of the largest unreached nations in the world. Turkey is also rich in history. Antioch is located here, which is the first place people were called Christians. The seven churches that the book of Revelation speaks of are also located in Turkey.
S & J have been serving in Istanbul, Turkey for almost 7 years. They have given over 100,000 New Testament Bibles in 5 different parts of Turkey and were leaders of an international youth ministry. They have discipled both Turks & MK's, were involved in deliverance, and also served the gypsies/kurds. S & J have been arrested twice but God gave them favor!
"God has put many things on our hearts and we pray they all come into fruition. Please join us in prayer to see souls come into the Kingdom!" Romans 10:14
